Unusual Weddings Ideas That Intrigue the Mind

In a way, unusual weddings can be said to not be as unusual anymore. Not that they aren't still amazingly planned events that the guests will remember forever, but there are simply more people who go the extra mile in order to really stand out from the crowd. Here are a few thoughts for getting started with planning that extraordinary wedding day.

A more unusual wedding  than a wedding where the bride and groom take a bungee jump off of a very high locale is difficult to picture, and it may give you the chills to hear that this has actually been done many times.  Your friends and family would certainly be talking for years about such a crazy and almost bizarre wedding event.  In practise this would most likely be performed so that you and your groom/bride  take your vows in front of all your guests like normally, and when you are pronounced man and wife, you can perform your bungee jump. 

Another place to have your unusual wedding is even higher up in the air, in an airplane during mid flight.  You can charter a private jet for the duration of the event that will allow you and your guests to be airborne while you and your loved one exchange vows.  Continue your journey to an exotic location or simply come back down after the ceremony - your choice.

If a jet is a little more than your budget can handle, another similar unusual wedding alternative can take place in a hot air balloon.  There will be less brute force and speed involved but also much less space to work with, so you can invite just a few of your close friends. Together you will have the traditional wedding toast as you are flying high above the clouds in a in this truly romantic flying machine.

Getting married somewhere exotic

If you want to orgaanize an unusual wedding, another great little trick to pull off is having it on an exotic, tropical island.  There are many beautiful places that will not only host your unusual wedding, but even assist you in the actual planning for it as well.  When you choose an island getaway for your wedding, you can be sure most of your guests will be very keen on attending. Suitable islands for an excursion of this type include many caribbean locations such as Aruba, Jamaica, The Bahamas and more when you want to have your wedding in tropical and exotic locations.

Renting a mansion or chartering a boat would also be creative alternatives. The very definition of unusual weddings is of course that very few other people do it in exactly the same way, the above has just been intended to get your mind racing with ideas.

One thing is for sure though, there are many places besides church where you can get married.
