Beautiful Garden Weddings Surrounded by Love
Among all the different typea of
weddings, garden weddings are certainly among the most
colorful, natural and beautiful. The pure love of the people
getting married surrounded by the fresh purity of nature makes
for a picture perfect backdrop. As always though, there are a
few important elements to consider when planning the event.
Garden weddings need not be held exclusively outdoors but
the more natural weddings are those held under soft sunlight
and covered with many plants and flowers. Other garden theme
options may be to rent a conservatory or a hot house big enough
to house you and your guests.
Practical considerations
Some garden weddings are also held at rooftop gardens where
your privacy is kept well. You just have to consider that space
and guests to be able to accommodate everybody. Some people
also hold garden wedding in public gardens and just cordon off
the perimeter of their area to prevent wedding crashers.
As for all social events taking place outdoors, the weather
is something you must account for - having a marquee or tent
handy in case of rain or extremely hot sunlight. Depending on
the locations you may also have various animals or insects to
deal with. Nothing could be worse than having ants strolling
away with the content in your picknick basket (I'm thinking
Donald Duck here) or squirrels dancing around your wedding
cake.
Speaking of cake, that is a part of the wedding you could
also have made to match the garden theme of your choosing. Take
note of the colors of the flowers and trees to be bale to
integrate the colors in your cake or giveaways. Garden weddings
might also benefit from a couple of swans in an artificial
pond. These add to the beauty and ambience of the area. Some
garden owners may agree to put up an artificial pond as long as
there is someone to monitor the animals.
You might also want to ask the priest where you will get
married if they have large enough grounds where you can set up
the reception of the wedding for a garden theme in the
reception. You can establish boundaries by putting up a marquee
or just velvet ropes around the perimeter of your reception
tables.
Finally, regardless of where your wedding is to be held,
don't forget that the people attendeng are most often as
important as the venue itself. Size and appearance can
actually be secondary to the genuine
loving atmosphere the people closest to you can
"deliver".
